It’s about to start
Sunday, 28 September 2025, 2:40 p.m. I arrived early to be there before the musicians. One arrived at 3 p.m. The second arrived shortly before the opening. There is still plenty of time. Before it starts, I quickly take a picture of all the groups. The visitors are arriving
Visitors began arriving at 3 p.m. Coffee and cake were served. Slowly but surely, the room filled up. Considering the small size of the space, quite a few people came. During the three hours of the exhibition opening, there were 35 visitors. Of course, I was delighted to see everyone who came, including my mother and my brother with his family. I was very pleased that Jörg Weber, a photographic artist, also came to the exhibition opening. I know him from the Medien.Kultur.Kunst.Börse Radebeul. I would love to exhibit with you sometime.Let’s go
It is 4 p.m., and the musicians are playing several pieces. Afterwards, I gave my 10-minute speech to open the exhibition. I talked about how I got into painting, where I have exhibited my work, what else I have done, and I thanked everyone who supported me in this exhibition by name.Break
The visitors had time to look at my acrylic paintings, there was coffee and cake again, and they could chat with me. Jörg Weber had lots of questions. Among other things, we talked about Pixelfed. I stayed outside since the break.Part Two
The musicians played again, I listened from outside and chatted with some visitors.Time is passing
Until 6:30 p.m., some people were still asking me what the exhibition title ‘I’m sitting in the car and logic loves me’ meant, but there’s a prize for that. Of course, I’m not going to reveal it. And some people asked me how to install this or that app. It’s 6:30 p.m., and the visitors are slowly leaving. I chat briefly with the musician who was there at the beginning, and then I make some short videos of my acrylic paintings.
And then it was already 7 p.m…
I say goodbye and drive home. It was lovely, also because it hadn’t rained.
Sunday, 05.10.2025
Visiting hours were from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Since it had been raining on and off, I was a little sad at first. Fortunately, five people came during those four hours. First, a woman rushed through and then left again. Then an older couple came. They were fascinated by my art and asked me questions. And shortly before closing time, two women arrived, naturally also because of my exhibition, but also because they had wondered who this Mondstern was. Since it had been raining the whole time, I was happy to have had five visitors. After the two women left, I brought the street display back inside, said goodbye and drove home.Sunday, 12.10.2025
