I Love Free Software Day 2026. I’m going to eat dinner and rest first, because I know it’s going to be very exhausting.
It is Friday, February 13, 2026. At 8:30 p.m., I started taking the colorful square acrylic paintings out of almost every conceivable corner and carrying them into the kitchen. That took a lot of time, maybe an hour. Then I thought about how I could stack them on top of each other. It had looked different every time before, but since there were more of them now, I stacked them the same way as in 2025.
At 9:30 p.m., I began stacking all the colorful square acrylic paintings on top of each other. That took about another hour. At 10:30 p.m., I took a picture from every angle from the side and then one from above. I rested for 10 minutes and admired this work of art.
At 10:40 p.m., I began dismantling the FOSS tower. I didn’t want to simply clear away all the colorful square acrylic paintings, pack them into boxes, and tidy them away. It would certainly be interesting to know which project had been involved. So I began writing down all the names, a few at a time. Then I packed them into boxes and tidied them away. That took a very long time.
At 12:04 a.m., by which time I Love Free Software Day had begun, I posted my FOSS tower.
Of course, I was tired too. I didn’t want to just set everything up and then take it down again the next day. That would have taken even more time. Rearranging everything, going to bed, getting up, putting it all back again… So I did it all in one go. And that’s why it took so long.
It is now 4:36 a.m., and my eyes are closing. Twelve colorful square acrylic paintings remain, whose names I cannot remember and have been unable to find out even after researching them.
I fell asleep at 5:00 a.m. and woke up again at 11:30 a.m.
At 12:30 p.m., I went for a walk until 4 p.m. When I got back home, I remembered the names of the remaining 12 colorful square acrylic paintings.
